Sunday, June 3rd, the director of the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, Mohamed Kabbaj, will meet in the city offices of Fez Medina with directors from similar festivals in France, Italy, Britain, Spain, Poland, Slovakia and India. The purpose of the meeting is the official start of the International Network of World Sacred Music Festivals. Thanks to the inspiration and efforts of festival directors Mohamed Kabbaj and Faouzi Skali and their cooperation with the festival Dijon Bourgogne in France this new charter has been created for a world network in order to share and perpetuate the essential values of the World Sacred Music Festival event. Over 11 festivals will be included in the signature of this first accord. Musical guests performing at this special event will be Kudsi Erguner and Anass Habib.
"Together in harmony, out of respect for the wealth of knowledge and spirtuality of world cultures, differences and individualities."
