Nass El Ghiwane in Fes festival Off

Saturday night at Bab Boujloud offers up the well-known 70s  band, Nass El Ghiwane, one of Morocco's own grassroots bands.  Popular for their outspoken and daring lyrics in common language, this band was once likened to the Rolling Stones of Morocco.  They may be a second incarnation of the original group, but they remain true to the spirit of their music and the legacy of their past.  It promises to be a show worth catching.
